Reflection/ Project Process

The Challenge

Create a book to show the process of your user centred design project, thinking about hierarchy, colour, grid systems and how the user interacts with the book.

A japanese stitch bound book using thread as a way to reference the medical theme and represent fixing or repairing as I uncover my process to my solution. The number 5 was used as a system throughout the book which linked to the 5 categories of help that I was addressing. Subsequently, there were 5 dots on the cover forming 5 rows directing the eye in the right direction to open the cover, 5 chapters in the book. The book uses a colour system to break up these chapters clearly and brightly to bring a positive mood.
